Although most people choose from one of our many existing patterns, if you need a piece custom designed, custom sized, or custom finished,
that's not a problem. We execute such orders all the time, even collaborating with you long distance.
With a design library reaching back over eighty years, there are a wealth of material and ideas well suited to the most discriminating buyer.
New custom designs, worked out between our clients and design team, emerge regularly.
Our primary wood is Sugar Pine, harvested and cured expressly for Southwest Spanish Craftsmen using best practices of sustainable forestry.
Every piece of furniture is made to order start to finish by a single craftsman employing old arts like hand planing (which brings out textures
sandpapering can't) and mortise-and-tenon joinery. Decorative detail is hand carded, chipped and adzed, while finishes are formulated from age-old
recipes and hand applied to bring out the glow that distinguishes hand-made furniture.
We also work in a large variety and quality of hardwoods such as Alder, Cherry, Walnut, Mahogany, Lyptus, and Ash Oak for our custom pieces.
We are happy to work with your tastes and style to the pick the wood that is right for you.
Whether you are interested in a piece of historic relevance, or you lean to a more contemporary aesthetic, our team of highly skilled
artisans will strive to exceed your expectations in every way.
Each custom piece we build is still meticulously produced by hand with old world techniques. An emphasis on timeless design, superior
quality and lasting build are the expectation on each and every piece.
